Dr. Chris Peterson is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. He joined 1st Eye Care of Carrollton after completing an internship at The Eye Foundation of Utah, which specializes in the treatment and management of glaucoma. He is licensed by the state of Texas as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist.

      Dr. Peterson is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and the Dallas County Optometric Association.

      Dr. Peterson is married and has three sons. They enjoy any outdoor activity that involved biking, hiking and camping.
